Self Help Workplace

Self Help Workplace has provided real employment for people with a disability for over 44 years and we are the largest employer of people with a disability in the Launceston area.

As an Australian Disability Enterprise we provide a range of products and services to many local and national businesses that range from pallets to survey pegs and our services from mail-outs to assembling components.

We also operate Encore Clothing which is Launceston’s premier clothing re-cycling shop, with a range of current fashions that is the envy of "up-market" retail outlets.

Over 70 people are employed in our modern facility at 414 Hobart Road, and enjoy all the benefits of real employment such as wages, holidays and long service leave.

With an active social club and dedicated employees, we provide a place of employment that is productive, fun and enjoyable.
